Warning - I am not a hook up or booty call. Please don't waste either of our time.
I recently moved to the SF area from Chicago in search of my 'tribe' and I'm looking for like minded people. I love meditation, conscious living, inner reflection, photography, reading, and writing. I'm hovering between making a career out of my art/passions and one that pays the bills. But my true goal is to continue discovering myself, my path, and how to get there. Career is on the back burner. Life takes us where we need to go.
A little about myself. I am an empath and indigo child. I love creating art in whatever form to express myself. I love to play video games. I love foreign movies. I rarely watch tv/tv shows. Reading books is an essential part of my life. I love knowledge, whether that's learning something from a documentary, a book, or a conversation with someone. Truth and intuition are what guide my life. I try to always ask myself is this based on love or fear? And then try to live motivated by love.
I listen to mostly mellow music that calms me or with lyrics that are poignant. But if I'm in the mood, I'll put on something with a beat. Ex: Mumford and Sons, Imagine Dragons, Fleet Foxes, Miike Snow, Of Monsters and Men, I Blame Coco, Angus and Julia Stone, Band of Horses, Florence and The Machine, Sea Wolf, Moriarty, The Killers, Death Cab Cutie, Dashboard Confessionals, Snow Patrol, Horse Feathers, Under the Influence of Giants, Horse in the Sea, Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver, Feist, Decemberists, Iron & Wine, Lady Gaga, Between the Trees etc Throw in some eurotrance and electronica too
I'm looking for a companion that is on a similar path and wishes to experience life in all its joys and trials with a like-minded soul. Friends first.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Edit - A lot of people are crazy on here, so dates have been shortened to coffee first. 30 minutes. AS FRIENDS.
I really like sushi and good conversation. While it's true that we might not click and eating together is longer than coffee, sometimes you gotta take a risk.
