About Me
I retired after 32 years in the hospital arena as an administrative assistant and am loving life. I look younger than my age, I'm told. My mom was Costa Rican and my dad was from Peru.
I raised three great kids who are my pride and joy, I have two wonderful daughters-in-law, and thank God, I am looking forward to my first grandson in April 2013! I'm ecstatic and can hardly wait to meet the little guy.
( UPDATE: My beautiful grandson was born this morning at 3:47am. 4/4/13. I could not be more proud or happy!!!)
I've traveled to many places...Italy, Spain, France (twice), England, Ireland, Scotland, Costa Rica, Fiji, Alaska, Kauai, and Mexico. I like to say I've been to Africa for a few hours (4) to visit Tangiers, since it was close to Spain, 3 hours by ferry. I want to see New York, and New Orleans and more countries. What I'd really, really like is to see more of San Francisco. There's so much to see. I've never even been to Alcatraz, and as a native San Franciscan, that's a little embarrassing. It'd be nice to have someone fun to hang out with, and enjoy doing fun things. I'd like to experience a cruise. I can ride on the back of a Harley just fine, as long as the driver is safe and smart. Pretty cars and old classic cars will always catch my eye.
I love, love, love dogs and can't wait to own one again. Ironically, I am allergic to fur, but my allergy meds work just fine. I was a TLC volunteer for a while at the humane society, but ended up getting home and crying for the poor dogs. I love all breeds, (but German Shepherds have my heart having owned two beauties). I have two cats, Petey and Samantha. (Sadly, 5/17/13, I had to lay my sweet Petey to rest.) I've had a dog, cat and birds all at the same time. Fun times. I love animals in general (used to breed canaries). I like soft rock, jazz, guitar, piano, 49ers games, plays, museums, gardening, BarBQ, sushi and sake, swimming, hiking, salsa dancing (I took classes... such fun!), movies and popcorn, theater, concerts - first saw The Beatles in '65 and last year I saw The Eagles. I like to play games like backgammon, chess, cards, ping pong, pool, and group games. I was a good volleyball player.
I love walking in the park and on the beach, and who doesn't love a sunset! I love dog-walking at Fort Funston, Stow Lake, Lake Merced (son's dog, Tank, my grandpuppy/bodyguard). He's a hunka-dog beauty. Dinner with a view is great in the bay area. I was raised in the Sunset District in S.F and I raised my three kids there too... Huge 49er fan! I'm fairly adventurous. I am young at heart, love to laugh and love good humor.
Life is short so I feel that it is important to be grateful for even the rainy days, and early Christmas ads... Things that people love to gripe about.
I like an easy going, kind, faithful, honest man, lover of God, (fairly close in proximity) who appreciates the company of a happy, confident and independent woman. Must have faith in God - or do not expect response. Also, photo is must.

Meet at Cliff House for coffee or lunch. Then walk across the street to the park and talk.
