100 characters.... not too long, but still. lol
Raised in Wisconsin, now living in Indiana. It is hard to write about yourself. I was very quiet and shy growing up, then I joined the Marines, so you can blame them for how I am now. lol I'm looking to meet someone who'll start as a friend and hopefully grow into something more. A friend that we can go out and do things together and explore the city and countryside with. Someone to talk to and listen to. I have a unique sense of humor, but I can't tell a joke at all. I'm usually good at turning a phrase that gets a laugh. I do keep myself in check most times. I'm not into the bar scene, but I do enjoy live music. There's nothing like seeing a live band playing and enjoying the atmosphere and who you're with. I enjoy just about all music, except for rap. Love the blues and some good old rock n roll. There's a bar downtown on the southside of the elevated rail tracks, The Slippery Noodle, it has some really great bands playing there. I enjoy cooking, baking and grilling. My favorite foods are Italian, Mexican, BBQ, Cajun, and just about everything else. But I will warn you I will NOT eat olives. :-) I have tried them and won't try them again.
I love hockey, football (Packers), and college basketball. I enjoy movies, hiking, biking, museums, golf, darts, festivals, flea markets, antiquing, gardening, amusement parks, bonfires, and reading. I also enjoy a quiet Sunday morning with coffee and the newspaper.
