About Me
I take a lot of road trips to anywhere, especially if there are mountains and lakes. I love going to the Pacific Northwest and am planning a 3 week trip the middle of June to Washington, Idaho and Montana. I do this every year, I just vary my itinerary and always wind up in Boise, Idaho on July 1st for my Mom's birthday. Montana and Northern Idaho are my two favorite places to go during the summer. I used to live in that part of the country, but can't take the harsh winters anymore.
I have a 92 year old mother in Boise, Idaho and I visit her as often as I can get up there, usually 2 or 3 times during the year.
I am also very handy with tools and fixing things. I can do Carpentry, Sheetrock, Plumbing, Electrical and pretty much anything to do with a house. I have gutted and rebuilt houses from scratch and at some point, will probably buy and resurrect another old house. I am an Industrial Engineer in Manufacturing Technology and have a good mind, so nothing seems out of reach in my mind... but my mind is getting older every day.
I was a Classic Car (Show and Go) and Hot Rod Builder (my Hobby) until last year and have retired from doing that due to the poor economy. I might build another car later, but that will depend on what I decide to do as far as relocating.
I spend a lot of time with my two Son's and my 5 month old Granddaughter (she's the light of my life), although I have my oldest Son and 4 other grandkids in another state I don't get to see very often. My Son's, Grandkids and family are important to me and I visit them all as often as I can.
