About Me
PLEASE if you're not going to take the time to post a picture and write at least a small bio, PLEASE don't contact me. I'm not here for games.
I would love to find someone to share the rest of my life with, but am content to be alone if that's what the Universe has in store for me. I've listed long term, but I'm not just going to jump into a relationship with someone I know very little about. That doesn't mean I'm going to date around, but I will keep my options open until I feel I've found someone that really suits me. Once that happens my entire focus will be on that one person. I don't stray even if the relationship is in troubled waters. I would leave the relationship before ever giving someone else the time of day. I've put myself on a shelf for about 1.5yrs, no dating, no anything. But now,I'm ready to find someone. I'm not about to force a relationship to work though. Either we click, or we don't. That being said, even if we don't work as a couple I'm up for friendship. I have female friends that I've had for years and are hiking buddies, etc...
I am a perpetual student. I love to learn new things. I've been to 3 community colleges and San Diego State University. If I watch TV, it is usually channels like Discovery, TLC, or the History channel.
I like most genres of music. Classical, classic rock, jazz, folk, indie folk, blues, middle eastern, some country, R&b, reggae, etc... my current go to is indie folk....Joshua Radin, Alexi Murdoch, Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, David Gray, Mumford and Sons, etc...
I don't go to church, but was raised Christian. I consider myself spiritual and know without a doubt there is order to the Universe.
I lead a pretty heathy lifestyle and am looking for someone who does the same. I love to eat green foods, fresh herbs, and fresh veggies to keep my immune system up and as a preventative to all the diseases in our modern society. Since cutting out soda and junk/fast food 13 years ago, I have only been sick once.
I just started working out again after tooooo long of a long break. Currently doing P90X and LOVING the burn. I will NOT stop until I have my six pack and ripped body back. I used to workout 6 days a week and know what it takes to get there. I've also been blessed with a body that responds ridiculouly fast. I want to start jogging again, but haven't found the time. I did however buy a new pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 12's. So I'm ready to go...hahaha!
You don't have to be perfect body wise as I'm not either, but if you're not close to ideal body weight then we're probably not a good match. No offense intended, but that tells me you don't have a very healthy lifestyle. I just prefer a range from thin to a few pounds over ideal body weight.
I owned a massage business for 11 years and practiced massage as well. I really miss not doing it.... I truly love to help people and am really gifted at massage. I've helped countless people out of what their MD's told them would be lifelong pain.
If you're looking for the stereotypical alpha male, please don't waste either of our times by contacting me. I'm in touch with my feelings as I was raised mostly by my wonderful Mom and 3 older sisters.
I'm a gentleman so expect doors opened, bags carried, etc... I try to be as considerate as I know how and anticipate peoples wants and needs. I'm honest (too much so sometimes), loyal, affectionate, caring and a whole host of other great adjectives. :) But, like everyone else, am not perfect.
I like the occasional micro brew and usually stick with stouts and porters. I also enjoy red wines.
I love to hike and take in the great outdoors especially when there are waterfalls around!
I love animals and have had dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, chickens, and fish.
I like to garden and plan on building some raised garden beds for the spring. My neighbors love me because I'm always showing up at their door with my overflow. Hahaha!
I guess I'll stop here.... I have to leave something for conversation! :)
