Isn't Victoria a nice place to live? I like how nice the weather can be and how active and outdoorsy a lot of the people here are. I see a lot of friendly faces when I'm out around town, or walking in the park. I'm just finding it a little tough to actually getting to know all those freindly, smiling faces, and I thought some of you might be on here.
It's weird, I'm not a shy person or anyhing, but I just can't seem to get from smiling and saying hello, to asking you out, without being awkward. I thought at least on here I know we're all looking for something so I figured it would be a good place to start.
Island life suits me pretty well. I've lived on the mainland, and traveled around some and always seem to keep coming back to the Island. I'll be honest, he climate has a lot to do with it. I've had my share of nasty cold winters.
Through a combination of hard work and good luck I'm kinda in a place right now where I've got almost the whole puzzle put together; carrer, life, happiness, priorities,, I'm just missing one piece, and that's you!
I like exploring new places, would love to meet someone else that also likes the roughing it style of travel. There's no hotels or restaurants on the best beaches. Not that I'm against the fancy hotel for a night or two along the way you understand! I'd like to go to South America, New Zealand, Phillipines, or anywhere really, i think it would be amazing to do a big cycle tour trip. I did one years ago and always wanted to do another.
Well, great chatting with you, let me know if you'd like to chat more, or maybe meet up, or both.
I'll be looking forward to it!
I suppose a casual, "get to know you" type deal, for the first date is probably best.
We can be creative and quirky on the second date.
