Hi there. My name is Debbie; I'm a college student at the University of Findlay, majoring in Japanese.
I just finished a research trip in Japan, and I absolutely loved it there, but definitely wouldn't mind traveling to a few other countries sometime in the future.
I'm an English, Japanese, and Spanish speaker who aspires to be an interpreter once I get done with all this crazy college stuff.
Playing video games is something that I enjoy doing in my free time. I DO NOT OWN AN XBOX.
Don't ask me if I prefer one console over the other; ex: "PS3 or 360?" If you like one console and not the other, that's cool; just don't criticize me for what I like. I think a gamer should shut up and enjoy the gaming experience no matter who releases the game.
I have a Legend of Zelda heart container tattoo on my chest, and I am damn proud of it. Yes, Zelda is my favorite game series, but if all you know is Ocarina of Time, then don't bother talking to me about Zelda. I've played more than just that.
Space and the universe just fascinate me; I could get all deep and philosophical for hours. My friends and I actually make up our own theories.
When I can actually afford it, I do FX makeup and make people look like zombies. I clearly have too much time on my hands for a college student.
My taste in music ranges. I enjoy classical music, grunge, rock 'n roll, metal, some rap, dubstep, and so on. I'm probably one of the few to say that music is NOT my life. Sorry, guys, but I don't get deep enough into music to have band conversations or anything.
I have the tendency to be really quiet when I first start talking to someone because I'm shy, but I get way more talkative once I open up. I'm pretty laid back and don't try to control people because I acknowledge and respect that we are our own people. :3

First Date
I've honestly never went out on a date with someone, so I can say that I don't really have a preference for a "perfect date." Plus, I don't want people to think that they HAVE to do what is stated in this box.
As I said, I'm pretty chill and would seriously go to a fast food restaurant and I'd be just as happy. I don't like people spending money on me; it isn't needed to have a good time, of course.
