I think the wisest way to live life is to able to delineate between givers and takers, the compassionate and the judgmental. I am an active listener, love a good laugh, affectionate and love nothing better than an engrossing conversation. I find a sense of humor, thoughtfulness, and an open mind tremendously endearing and attractive. Most of all, I thrive on diversity and am looking for someone who can be as nurturing and generous in spirit as I am. There may be plenty of fish, but rare few who cultivate and emanate empathy in practice. Travel in all its guises inwardly and outwardly can bring this to the fore.
I own my own business in illustration and animation and have had quite a winding, but rewarding journey through the woods. I've been able to travel near and far, as I was originally born in Malaysia and have studied abroad and lived/worked out of state. I'm blessed to have a small but very loving, eclectic group of friends and family. I'm grateful for much in my life and strive as much as I can to be present.
I'm trying to leave the world a better place and truly believe we are all ripples in a collective pond of change. For instance, living in the bay area, where we are at an all time high for the poverty gap, I cannot remain apathetic about homelessness. It's important to look our fellow human beings in the eye, to not let them starve or suffer because we are lucky enough to have shelter. Volunteering my time towards efforts that are trying to alleviate this pain is the only way I know now to help:
I love to dance -

I have a philosophy about life that embraces both whimsy and a plan. Dating would be no different.
