About Mandy
I'm pretty much just like everyone else, trying to raise a daughter and looking to find someone to share my life with. So far, that has been a challenge but one that I'm determined to accomplish.
Some of the positive things about me are:
I'm pretty strong willed and determined. If I want something bad enough, I will get it.
I know the difference between right and wrong and respect other people and their feelings, which I feel a lot of people lack lately.
I have a very laid back personality.. there isn't anything that I can think of that offends me and I'm always open to new ideas and points of view.
I can get along with all kinds of different people, I would say I don't fit into any specific "genre" of people.
If I like someone, there is nothing I wouldn't do for them.
I love to listen to other people life stories. I find everything fascinating. The more someone wants to tell me the better. But I don't ask many questions. That could be a negative. Lol. I usually wait for someone to open up to me vs me drilling them for information.
I'm an open book. I have no secrets. If you ask me something you will get a honest answer.
I don't expect to be treated like a princess. I only expect to be treated the way I treat others. But if I'm willing to give my best to someone, I will expect that in return. And I don't think this is too much to ask from anyone.
I appreciate CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. I may dislike it when it's first given but I believe we can learn from it and grow.
I will never grow up. It's strange to think I have this weird mixture of a mature person and child inside of me. But I like it.
I like football :)
Some negative things about me:
I'm very strong willed and determined (notice this is in both positive and negative) Tell me no or I can't do something and I promise I will do it. I know who I am and I know what I want and have a hard time deviating from that.
I wouldn't call myself a social butterfly. I tend to like small groups of people rather than large gathering.
I can be very quiet when I first meet people.
Once I get to know someone and like them.... I never shut up. Lol.
If you do something to change my opinion of you, chances are good you won't ever change it back.
If someone causes any kind of drama in my life, I will drop them in heartbeat.
At 34 year's old, I still can't remember to check my oil in my car. :/
...35 now and the extra year hasn't helped with the oil situation.
