I'm happy, but I'm hoping for my soul mate to share my "golden years" with . . . (If this idea scares you, don't worry. You're not him. And if it doesn't scare you, you still might not be him.) I'm not into games or drama. I am looking for a loving, well rounded relationship that meets my emotional, physical (wink wink), spiritual, and intellectual needs. I'm not looking for someone to fix me, because I'm not broken. I'm looking for my complement.
I'm not religious, but I am spiritual, and I'm very happy with my path. I believe in "to each his/her own," and am judgement free. I believe in karma.
I'm Pagan. If this is an issue for you, please save us both some time. Also, I don't drink. If you can walk away from a half of a beer or glass of wine, we'll be fine. I'm not interested in heavy drinkers.
I'm often told I look 10 years younger than I really am. I love to ski, and go twice a month throughout the winter, but I'm just as happy relaxing on a beach. When I have time, I like shooting photography, and can get lost in Adobe Lightroom. I have a lot of friends who are more like family, and I cherish my peaceful home. I'm also an animal lover, and adore my dog (he sometimes sleeps with me). I like Harleys too, and I have leathers and helmets. I wanted to learn to ride, but apparently I'm too short for the bikes they had at the class, so they made me leave and gave me my money back.
I'm technically literate, and although I don't have the latest gadgets, I still appreciate "newer, faster, better." I just got an iPad and am having fun with it. I love to read and have a very eclectic book collection on my Kindle (from the 50 Shades trilogy to The Wheat Belly Diet). I like all kinds of music, mostly groups like Nickelback, Seether, Linkin Park, The Offspring, Weezer, and similar. Of course there's also Sammy Hagar, Foghat, Triumph, and Humble Pie.
I have one tattoo and one piercing (besides my ears).
(Spell checker and grammar checker are wonderful tools. Too bad more guys don't use them.)
It's been a really long time since I've been on an actual one on one date. I prefer relaxed environments, so meeting at Starbucks would be somewhat less stressful. We can save the candlelight and 5 course meal for another time . . .
