Why is it so hard to find a good man who will love me for me???
I am passionate about many things, but most of all I have a passion and zeal for life in general. While my life has been full of ups and downs I choose to focus more on the positive things in my life. I guess you can say that I like to see the glass half full. I enjoy my life and put a lot of effort into learning new things each day.
I am a woman with a huge heart. I love working with all ages, especially with children and youth. I would love to find someone who will allow me to be me, but will also help me be a better person. I recently lost a lot of weight and I am still a work in progress in that area, but I would love to find someone who enjoys being active, like taking walks, go hiking, go to the gym and/or bicycle (still need to invest in a bike!).
Ultimately, I am looking for something that will lead to a long-term relationship, but I fully understand you have to start out somewhere and build that relationship. I am not looking to get married next week or month, but I do hope to find someone to marry (some day), someone who will compliment my life and someone to share my life with.

First Date
You know, it is really hard to say. I would probably have to say that the better first dates that I have been on have been those where we were in an environment that leant itself to talking. I think a first date is an opportunity to get to know a person. The goal, in my mind, is to get to know you and then see where things go. I want to get to know you on a personal level and see if we "click." I am open to many first date possibilities.
