I am originally from the Washington D.C. area. Since I'm single with no kids I am able to enjoy all that life has to offer. I enjoy experiencing different cultures and I'm pretty well traveled globally. I love going to the movies, dancing, chatting over coffee and going to venues with live music. I'm always up for trying something new. I’m definitely not a homebody but can also appreciate a night in with good conversation and a glass of wine.
I am looking for a strong Christian man who isn't afraid of walking in faith and gets his sense of confidence from the fact that he is a son of God. I am a whole person, looking for another whole person to share a future with.
As my pictures show, I am naturally and proudly a 'thick and curvy' woman but I stay active and try to workout at least 2 days a week, so while I don't need you to be a super athlete or body builder I appreciate a man who does the same.
I am often 'accused' of not being 'black' enough for some folks because of the way I speak and behave. While I would love to launch into a tirade about how the educated black woman continues to be misrepresented in society I'll just say that I won't apologize for my upbringing. However, if you are looking for a 'hood chick', I AM NOT THE ONE (is that 'black' enough for you? *jk*) My friends of all races tease me and call me a "white girl dipped in chocolate" :/ While I don't necessarily like the connotations that accompany that term, we all know how nick-names stick! LOL
Message me if you feel my pain... :p
Happy Fishing Everyone :)
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I think a first date over drinks or coffee is a good way to get to know one another.
