About Me
Hi,
My name is Elly and I moved to Clarksville this year to teach elementary school. I'm originally from Illinois and I've learned there are some great differences between Illinois and Tennessee. My favorite difference: I was told a few weeks ago that my hometown got 9 inches of snow. The most my area here has gotten is 1 inch. I love it here! Ha, I'm really just looking for a friend in the area that isn't a teacher. I can only talk about students and test scores for only so long!! I don't really know what to put on here so I'll start with a big ole list of things I absolutely must have in a friend :)
You must love:
1. Spicy BBQ
2. Illini basketball (If you are a Buckeyes fan, we are destined to be mortal enemies. This is non-negotiable.)
3. Car stuff (Okay, I personally don't know jack squat about cars but I made a New Years resolution to learn car stuff so I need someone to teach me this stuff so I can cross this off my list.)
4. Guns (Just like the previous one, I really don't know jack squat about guns but I saw a pink one that I really want but it won't do me any good to own something I don't know how to use. I did shoot at some zombie posters once so I'm border line gun expert. Please don't feel intimidated by my skills ;) )
Things I love that I won't REQUIRE in a friend but are major bonuses:
1. Country and Jazz music
2. Long drives in the country
3. Shoes
4. Hiking
5. Wine
6. Politics
