God...my daughters..family and friends..my Doxie, Bella..teaching...pasta...home-made tamales...Chardonnay..The Beatles & Classic Rock...just MUSIC period...the Thanksgiving episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond;"...Greek food....Dodger dogs...an ice-cold Corona on a hot, summer day..albondigas and fresh tortillas on a cold day...the smell of lavendar..scary (but not gory) movies...the color red.. sleeping in...a book you can't put down...a long, hot shower in the morning..pedicures and facials..going crazy at the Bath and Body Shop...pomegranate martinis...watching a Super Bowl game and my numbers for a pool are lookin' really good! Disneyland...people who just feel like "home"....Christmas morning...listening to the sound of the rain snuggled under the covers...deep PASSIONATE kisses..the ones during which neither one of us wants to break away first.
TURN OFFS
Lines...not the ones on the sidewalk either...one-person pity parties...Monday mornings..movies that leave you hanging...standing in line.. inconsiderate drivers..arrogance..prejudice..elitists, mean-spirited and hurtful people..chauvinism and that double-standard..ultra-feminism..prudish attitudes.people who talk out of both sides of their mouths....excuses...conceited people..fibsters...."it's all-about-me" people...HYPOCRITES.

First Date
Coffee or a drink at a quiet spot where we can talk and get to know each other...some humble hole-in-the-wall treasure with torn, red leather seats where the piped in music is mostly great tunes from the 70's and 80's.... maybe it will come to be known as "our place" some day...you just never know.
