About Kirby
I am a warm-hearted, sincere pain in the butt. I love to hear myself talk, but have developed a knack for listening as well. I get along with most everyone I meet and can always find the good in someone. I give a lot of chances, definitely one of my faults, but I am getting better at that. I love helping others and when I get in their way, it is completely coincidental and not on purpose. I love spending time outside, but did not grow up actually doing anything outdoors. You can almost always talk me into trying anything, unless I might die. I do not want to die. I love to learn new things and experience new places. I am a sucker for nerds, cannot help but find myself in an in-depth conversation with nerds, dorks, and the like. I love to travel and continuously find new ways to get to the places I go everyday; that way I never get bored. I get bored really easily, another fault that I am working on. Though some would just say that I am adventurous, but my grandmother always said "if you are bored than you must be boring," I do not hold this to be true. I dream of seeing the entire world, including Antarctica, I want to see the penguins! One day I hope to influence others with the cultures I have learned from and not just with my poor attempts at cooking, but with their literature and art as well.
As stated above, I love to travel, I am actually planning a trip to South America right now, and officially got the time off approved! I am hoping to have an "Indiana Jones" adventure while I'm there. If nothing else I hope to get lost amongst the crowds and find my way again, experience something I have never thought possible. If I am not working or doing actual homework (working on BA in Liberal Studies: Art, Media, and Cultures) I will be found reading. I probably own about 300 books and have yet to read them all. I am attempting to do so, before I buy anymore. I love movies and frequently have mini-marathons, snuggled up on the couch with my dog. I live off of music, most people can say a single word and I can start singing a song based off of it. It might be a little strange, but I have been around music my entire life, thanks to dance and theatre. The only music I have ever disliked is polka and mariachi bands. I have absolutely nothing against the cultures, the music just kind of irritates me.
I hope to meet someone who is willing to share their ideas and aspirations in life that strive to learn about others, even if it is just people watching at airports (I like doing that too). I want to find someone that is not judgmental of others and that wish to live a good life, helping others and striving to be the best they can be.

I have not been on many dates and can be quite shy when I first meet someone, but I think it is necessary to have a conversation. I think the best options are coffee break, a snack, or a walk, or maybe some mini golf.
