About Me
I recently relocated from New England to the south; I've always wanted to live in another part of our country so here I am.
This has been not only a geographical change but a cultural change as well. I'm enjoying the milder winter here but do miss those ski trips and great snowmobile runs of the past years.
I have an infectious personality---I love life, laughter, people and always look for those blue skies. I'm very young at heart---I never can remember my age as its just a number. I'm semi-retired, working very parttime as a member rep for a financial institution. I bought my cabin last summer and am busy getting it fixed up--just bought a sander and ten gallons of drylok paint for the basement...got myself a real project going now. I chose this area because it reminded me so much of the beautiful mountains up north.
I'm just getting acquainted with my new community--joined the garden club, church choir and couple of study groups. I consider myself a very wealthy woman with blessings too numerous to count. I want to continue to explore the world around me, ready to take that road less travelled. I have wonderful kids and above average grandkids. . . treasures in my life. I've traveled to Europe recently, wintered in Costa Rica and Florida and look forward to more travel adventures in the years ahead.
These are but a few words typed on this site...I like to think that I am one-of-a-kind. My journey is unique, my life is good and I take each day as a new gift to be opened for the first time--would me nice to have someone share some of these gifts. Step out of your comfort zone---this is not a dress rehearsal. And thanks for reading my profile.

First Date
I am not a shy person...meeting new people is always exciting for me. Going out to eat is a treat but maybe a play? concert?. I am NOT a pretentious person--what you see is what you get. Life is shorter now for those folks over 55---each day brings its own rewards if we are sincere, honest and compassionate. Be willing to take that risk.
