About Me
Attention readers: This girl is a dork, silly, nerdy, and all that jazz. She has more books than she has read, prefers British television most times, and drinks tea on a daily basis. This is a girl who loves surrounding herself around positive, creative, passionate, and friendly people and likes to enjoy life, experience new things, create, and learn. She strives to be the best that she can be, whether that means learning new things, admitting her flaws, or working on improving her health.

I consider myself an aspiring polymath, not wanting to have just one expertise in life. I enjoy so much and I don't want to limit myself to just what I am going to school for (computer science). I enjoy things like graphic design, digital art, writing, and costume makeup. None of that is what I plan on doing as a career, but I still want to strive to be good at them to the point of one day also being able to call myself a designer, artist, and writer. I want to be everything I can and want to be.
I love books that make me laugh and/or think. I want to get something out of the book I am reading and enjoy character driven plots, especially when they make me stop analyze my own life and ideas. I also enjoy books that make me learn or even just lighten up my mood. A highlight of my literary interests: John Green, Octavia E. Butler, Oscar Wilde, A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Hobbit, and as is probably expected by my nerdyness: Harry Potter.
As for films, I like sentimental science fiction, science fiction in general (Star Wars and The Fifth Element are amazing!), dark fantasy (Pan's Labyrinth was brilliant!), Asian horror, psychological thrillers, John Cusack, dark comedies, musicals, and so much more. Also, I really love cheesy and B movies.
Shows: Almost anything British. Best summary. I mean, some non-British stuff as well such as: Daria, Dead Like Me, Boy Meets World, Feaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, Flight of the Concords, and pretty much anything by Joss Whedon. I also partake in the occasional anime.
First Date
A nice, relaxing date at a coffee shop would be nice. Nothing too stressful, but allows for us to get to know each other. Perhaps afterwards go to a bookstore or museum, which could possibly start some interesting conversations.
I am up to other, more creative ideas though. Just as long as isn't some place where we can't hear each other because that just makes things a bit more awkward in my opinion.
