Still new to the Los Angeles area, living in Santa Monica.
I am in the film and television world, still trying to connect the dots out here.
There isnt a good way to meet people in LA when your new to the area. You have to follow the advice of new friends and find those that have similar interests. There is also that distance thing of meeting people in LA.
Difficulty is finding someone you have common interests with and live within a 5 mile radius.-The game just got harder.
I am originally from the midwest "Michigan" and travel often for work- overseas and the states. I enjoy my work, almost too much. But finding something you enjoy is really the golden ticket- right? I am a fan of music and was a radio and club DJ for many years - Alternative music is my genre, but i'm a fan of quality within music. Classical and Rock, Alternative, Retro, Experimental, etc. Some of my favorite bands are - New Order, Depeche Mode, Portishead, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Imogen Heap, Interpol, Bowie, Hooverphonic, Pixies, Ride, and more... I am a fan of live band shows. A person could go broke in LA with the amount of bands each night here.
I like humor and being creative - and hope to inspire or be inspired.
Im looking for someone to share my and explore their interests, and wherever that road may uncover and discover.
Im looking to learn things that I never knew about both in the cities surroundings and in life.
Im looking for an improved relationship that has honesty, integrity, and good communication.
