About Me
I love yoga, hikes, gardening, bike rides, reading, crochet, drinking wine, horse back riding and traveling. I spend a lot of time with my eight-year-old daughter. We play outdoors a lot and work in our garden and play with/care for our dog and chickens. I'm working hard to develop a self-sufficient lifestyle.
I teach, so I get a few vacation days, and I love to use them for outdoor activities and weekend (or longer) trips. I love Mount Diablo for horseback riding, Amador County for wine, every beach out there, and the bay area for hikes.
I like most music, but lately I'm really into bluegrass. Recently, coming home from a bike ride on Angel Island I started talking with a group of guys who have a bluegrass band in San Francisco. They performed an impromptu show on the ferry going back home, and I fell in love (with the music.)
I'm unique because I'm fiercely independent and self-sufficient, but in a relationship I don't want to control everything. I like a take-charge guy (who is really good at listening and considering what makes us both happy.) That's not asking too much is it :) ?
