Howdy Fishies!
I'm still fairly new to Texas and curious to see what / who is out there. I'm very friendly, outgoing, social and love to meet new people. I still don't know many people here aside from the people I work with and I really want to change that!! I enjoy anything that involves being outdoors....camping, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, swimming, anything around the water, floating the river, off-roading, snowboarding, motorcycles (yes, I have my license and I can ride, I'm also completely fine with riding on back), shooting, dirt-bikes, quads, I grew up hanging out with my dad in the garage working on cars and it shows. I've never been hunting, but I really want to go! I'm pretty much a tom-boy; shopping is my idea of torture....I could NEVER go wander at a mall for the day. I like dancing, cooking, reading, traveling, anything that involves being active, spending time with friends, family and my pup. I love all types of music and going to live shows, but would say I mostly listen to country. I work out regularly (at least 4 times a week) and eat pretty healthy on a normal basis . I'm not someone who can sit at home and watch TV or movies all weekend, I've got to have more stimulation than that and have to be more active! It's been at least two weeks since I even turned my TV on.
I'm not interested in going to bars every single weekend, once in a while I don't mind.
I'm a genuine, loyal, good hearted person who's honest to a fault and would love to find someone that embodies the same qualities. Intelligence and the ability to make me laugh are far sexier to me than an attractive face, nice body or arrogance.
I enjoy the home life and want to find the person to share that with and to build my forever with. I am ready for a future, a family and am looking for someone that wants and is looking for the same things. I want to have children of my own in the not too distant future. I don't mind if you have children, as long as you have a desire to have more.
I decided it would be a good idea to list some thing's that people have taken issue with in the past. This way it's all out there from the start:
• You must like animals. Not just be tolerant of them, actually like & enjoy them. It would be even better if you had a dog too so Duke had a buddy!
• I don't like being around drugs at all and refuse to do so. Yes, pot is a drug. Please just pass by my profile.
• I don't have cable TV. If you love to sit in front of the TV and drink beer all weekend, don't bother contacting me.
• I have a lot of male friends. The types of hobbies I partake in are generally male dominated, and I can relate to men a lot easier than I can to women. That being said, I do not cross lines of friendship. Friends are just friends and nothing more.
• I have a fairly busy M-F schedule given my job and my routine, this leaves little to no free time during the week. I've got all the time in the world on the weekend though!
• I don't enjoy excessive drinking or being around it and refuse to have it in my life. If you like to spend every weekend in a bar or club and this is your idea of fun, please don't contact me.
• I am not here to hook up. If you're socially awkward to the point of needing to use the Internet to get laid, I really don't want to meet you.

First Date
Anything that involves getting to know one another, preferably not drinks and definitely not a movie. Something out of the ordinary and different. I'll be very impressed if you're exposing me to something new that I've never done or to doing something that you really enjoy. A Dog Park or the river with my pup (and yours if you have one!) would be awesome.
