About Me
When I think about myself, I think of nature. My practice involves using products from nature. I hike and backpack in order to enjoy nature more fully. I find looking at, and being in, the natural world, infinitely entertaining. The clouds, weather, in general, the terrain, everything! I love watching animals in nature, as well.
Another side of me is the cultured side, loving music: symphonic, operatic, vocal, sacred, popular, both to listen to and sing. Loving travel, especially to hike, backpack or have outdoor adventure. Loving people and their cultures. Cooking food from other countries as one way to experience life elsewhere.
My other major facet involves a holistic, spiritual life: meditating, doing yoga, reading, contemplating.
But all this with a major dose of FUN! And laughter!
I would like to walk many overseas hiking trails like the Haute Route in Switzerland, the King's Road in Sweden, the Milford track in New Zealand and the pilgrimage route El Camino de Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain. I also aspire to do more medical missions overseas, especially in Asia (I previously went on a medical mission to Kathmandu).
I find that I have a great deal of energy and a lot of interests that I pursue with passion. I am always up for adventure!

First Date
I love to walk, so walking somewhere, in nature, is a wonderful thing to do on a first date. I love to hike, especially up hills to see wonderful views. A picnic is a lovely way to continue, when we get hungry. Sharing a nice bottle of wine rounds out time spent in nature and caps a great first date.
