Hello out there! I'm new again to the dating world and am finding that I may need to go back to school to figure out how on line dating works! I much prefer the "boy meets girl" scenario. Well, a little about myself...I've been a teacher for 17 years and absolutely love it. I'm an introvert by nature, but not shy. I have a small group of very good friends-it's quality, not quantity for me. I'm very easy to get along with and not easily ruffled. I can get along with almost anyone and always look for the positive qualities in others. I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, antiquing, movies, traveling, cooking, trying new restaurants, dog parks with my Emily (Golden Retriever/Chow mix), drawing, painting, refinishing furniture....pretty normal and perhaps boring passtimes. I can enjoy almost any activity if the company is good. I was married for almost 16 years, separated for almost 4 years, and finally now, divorced. I have spent a good deal of time figuring out what I want now, and it's about cultivating joy and authenticity, and learning as much as I can in this life.
In a potential partner, I am looking for honesty, humor, and kindness. Someone who knows what they want out of life, has dealt with the ghosts of their past and is ready to enjoy life. I value intelligence, manners, and someone who takes responsibiltiy for both the good and bad things in their life.
I think it's difficult to get a sense of who someone is through emails and texts, and I'm not here to find a pen pal. So if you want to meet someone and see where it could lead, then contact me. The best of luck out there!
