About Me
Actual crime is perhaps going too far and the phrase is badly overused anyway, but perhaps unscrupulous jay walking, paying in Canadian Tire money (my nemesis) or smuggling a meal and a nice bottle of pinot into the movie theater would be equally fulfilling?
I have an odd but very engaging scientisty occupation that I love and some hobbies that are just as fun as they look. Actually that's not true, some are less fun than they look - beekeeping for example, so much work and the lil' **stards are always swarming away no matter what you do. Ingrates...yup stopped that this year (wait...why again do I keep a hundred thousand stinging insects in the yard?) but it was fun to try.
Travel is big on the list these days, the last few years have taken me to Borneo, Egypt, Ecuador/Galapagos, the Caymans and recently hang-gliding in Mexico. They say adulthood is the time of life when you get to do all the awesome stuff you always said you would as a kid, so I guess that's what I try to do more or less (maybe not the bees, but the travelling, flying, bikes and diving for sure). Back then I had also figured on there being a smart and plucky gal to be in the picture for these adventures, so I guess that brings me here.
