Trying this again with hopes of having better luck this time round!
I am a fairly easy going person who can usually have fun doing just about anything. I currently play in a co-ed ball hockey league and I love it. I also enjoy playing pool, bowling, playing cards (especially Euchre), and anything that involves water. In the summer I spend my time wake-boarding, fishing, going to the beach or just hanging out in my backyard pool. I love to have family over in the summer for a pool party/BBQ.
I currently have a good job but it doesn't quite give me the sense of fulfillment that I am looking for so I am actively looking for a career change. I recently completed my University Degree in hopes that it will make me more attractive to employers.
Some things that are unique about me are I love to talk and debate, I am a very passionate person, I am self-reflective and sensitive and I believe I am intelligent.
My taste in music and movies is very versatile. I like most music with the exception of hard core rap and heavy metal.
I believe the keys to a long lasting happy and successful relationship are honesty, communication, compromise and commitment. Honesty brings security and trust. We all need to feel safe. Communication is important because whenever you bring two people together from different backgrounds it is inevitable that there will be different expectations and ideals that if left uncommunicated will lead to disappointment. Compromise is important because it is the only way to ensure equal opportunity for happiness in the relationship. Finally, commitment is important for those times when things are tough. It is a commitment to each other that will help us to rise above the difficult times and see the good times ahead.
They say that you should marry your best friend. I have come to realize what that really means and I really hope to meet my new best friend. It is really that simple! I want to meet someone that I enjoy spending my time with so much that I don't have time for anyone else.
