I'm a nerd. I adore other nerds. I am pretty easy going, open-minded, and I am constantly working on becoming a better person. That doesn't mean that I strive for perfection--I'm not a fan of chasing ghosts/illusions(or things that don't exist), I simply strive to be the best that I can be. I guess you can say that I'm a "work in progress."
I'm passionate and creative. I am a poet/writer. I also write monologues, plays, children's book (published), and a comic strip. I love children. I am very affectionate, genuine, and kind. I try to be open-minded and accepting of most people, although I am a bit stuck in my ways. I still think there is a fine line between acceptance and tolerance. Nevertheless, I have been known to change my mind. Overall, I am laid-back, and I value emotional bonds/intimacy.
I write for a creative writing magazine on campus. I have a radio show, and I'm a research assistant for the Department of Communications. In addition, I volunteer at a homeless shelter for the mentally-ill on a weekly basis, and I work teaching elementary school children math. Add those things to a full-load at school and life gets kinda hectic.
I am intelligent, creative, and passionate...I REALLY want to go skydiving, parasailing and drifting. Random thoughts :)
