About Me
I would describe myself as free spirited, smart, on the ball with an east coast mentality. Also kind, down to earth, romantic and nurturing. I love to run, hike, cook healthy food and explore all the beautiful places around me (there's so much of that here!). Having lived most of my life in Brooklyn, i try not to take things here for granted, the beautiful mountains, hiking, beaches and great weather.
It comes natural to me to be a contributor to society and to the people around me; It's the way i was raised, having grown up in a really large family:) with parents who give selflessly to their kids and to our community. I don't understand how someone can be happy living a mundane or self centered life without regard or care for other people or without depth, meaning, ambitions and goals.
Many times i feel like I'm a bit different than a lot of people around me (in a good way), especially people in LA and while I have many friends and acquaintances I don't feel that very many people "get" me but that's okay;) I also think a bit out of the box, don't feel the need to follow the latest trends. I enjoy staying in or with good company on Saturday nights and prefer going out during the week when places aren't packed with people who drank too much. I'll never stand on line to get into some cool hip bar, I think that's so silly. And I love being out for a run early morning or doing something productive early! When eating out, I always prefer an ethnic, vegan or mom & pop type spot rather than a tourist trap that's loud & crowded.
I love making the most of everyday, even on vacation! I enjoy getting up early to explore, be outdoors and do things. Definitely enjoy kicking back and chilling as well, esp when in a relationship so I need someone who can be both adventurous, energetic and spontaneous but also romantic, nurturing and relaxed cuz I try to keep a good balance of both.
I relate to like minded, free spirited people like myself, who have their feet on the ground when it comes to work and life but are also creative and independent thinkers, spontaneous and not afraid to try something new or have their own style.
Looking for someone with a similar background to mine, preferably "Jewish" and it would be a plus if you came from a warm & close family like I do (my parents are together for 40 yrs:) and I have wonderful siblings and beautiful nieces and nephews, who are mostly on the east coast, whom I'm in touch with everyday.
Lastly, I want to "enhance" ur life, not create a life for u so I'd fit best with someone who already has a pretty full life, successful at whatever it is that u do, with depth, drive and a good heart. And, u gotta be a happy person with a positive attitude or we won't click:)
