About Me
I'm kinda just the sweet, sensitive type I guess. I live a very full life and I try and keep myself pretty busy. I have a great group of friends, many I've known (and been close with) since childhood - we still hang out all the time and I enjoy life very much. I also come from a great family with whom I am very close, mom & dad have been married for almost 45 years, pretty much the two nicest people ever. They raised me properly to be respectful and humble, and my mother would still smack me if I didn't offer my seat or my jacket to a woman. (So many guys are ***holes and creepers - I can't stand it).
Anyway, beyond all that I consider myself to be intelligent and articulate, I read voraciously and I love educational television (History/Discovery Channel have really gone downhill lately though). But I also love to talk, I've become a good listener (mostly by learning to keep my mouth shut from time to time) and I definitely enjoy good conversation with nice people - I feel I have a lot to offer in that regard. I really love animals too, although I don't currently have any of my own I guarantee your pets will love me - I can be pretty ridiculous when it comes to playing with/talking to them and even skittish dogs/cats will usually come right up to me, its weird.
I also play and coach hockey (a lot, sorry, - its kinda my thing) so I'm always doing something and I stay in pretty good shape. I grew up right on the Lake so I love to swim and to be near the water (pretty much more than anything, I'm like part-fish). I do like to go out and have a few drinks with friends from time to time, but I'd prefer it if it didn't always have to come down to that every weekend because honestly, I mostly like just staying in and cuddling-up on the couch with a movie or a good show.
But at heart I'm also a very happy person, I'm always trying to stay positive no matter what's going on in my life so I love to laugh and a good sense of humor in someone I date is important (so original, right?). But for real - I'm always smiling and I'm always having fun, there's no drama in my life - no crazy ex girlfriends or baby mamas, no skeletons in my closet.
