To put this entire thing into perspective : the relative size of the earths surface to the shell of an egg would make earth's surface about 5 times thinner than the shell of an egg proportionally. All 6 billion of us are sitting on that very thin egg shell, and not only are we sitting on it, earth is rotating (at its fastest point in the equator about 1037/milesperhour), and while rotating at this speed, earths core is filled with burning hot magma that repels itself positvely and negatively to generate an electromagnetic field around the earth that envelopes and protects us from gigantic solar flares while gravity pulls us closer and closer each year to a blazing hot yellow dwarf star known as the sun powered by nuclear fusion reactions that occur instantaneously every couple of minutes. That same star which we call the sun is expanding bigger and bigger each year. Did i also mention right above your head, above the stratosphere is a vacuum called space. 65 miles separates you and nothingness
