My name is SarahMarie (Yes, one word).
I was born and raised in the Bay Area.
I'm a spunky little package, with a "type B" personality. I say what is on my mind, and I enjoy spontaneity over an agenda. I work as a critical care nurse, and my career blesses me with the time and the means to ENJOY life. I absolutely love my job, but I will never be the person who lives to work, unless of course, I have to.
I enjoy a pretty active lifestyle, which must be important to you too. I enjoy running half marathons, road biking, tailgating/football games (if you're a Raider fan, this may never work), snowboarding, hiking, etc. I also enjoy relaxing with a good book, movie, massage, or mediation.
I take the time to nurture my relationship with God, just like any other important relationship. This is a deal-breaker for me. Yes, life gets busy, but either it's a priority in your life, or it isn't. I try my best.
I LOVE to travel and feed my wanderlust. My most recent trips were to Japan and the Azore Islands, Portugal. 2014 may lead me to Australia or Thailand. There is a lot of world out there that I can't wait to explore!!
I'm very attracted to people who take good care of themselves physically, spiritually, and emotionally. My ideal match? A man of his word. Active/FIT. Sarcastically funny. Down to earth/humble...with nice teeth :) Yes, looks can only go so far. But there needs to be a very basic level of initial attraction.
1- Post ONE picture WITHOUT sunglasses, WITHOUT a hat, and SMILING! If you're balding or have crooked teeth- embrace it, or fix it.
2- Get out of the bathroom and put your shirt back on. It's tacky. And your grandmother would be disappointed. A poolside pic would be more appropriate. Just saying.
3- If you e-mail me one-liners, such as, "Hey baby" or "Nice smile," I WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU. I will probably delete your e-mail with just as much thought as you put into writing it.
I'm in no rush to find love. I'm quite comfortable with where I'm at in life. I'm open to dating and seeing where it goes. I'm also completely fine with making a new friend to hit the gym with, or to grab a beer with after work.
Everyone needs to eat, right? And I love pretty much everything. I'm very big on chemistry. We should both know after a meal together whether or not we share a romantic chemistry, or if we have just made a new friend.
