Like a good book we cannot always judge it by its cover. So I would like to offer up a preview to some of the chapters written so far and what I hope to add to it.
Some background history would include – I grew up in Eastern Washington but, have lived in Western Washington for some time.
A chapter on my personality:
I would say I am a very outgoing person who is finds enjoyment in spontaneity and change. A type A personality would fit me best. Snow skiing, mountain biking, hiking and riding my motorcycles are just ways I like to relax. I enjoy all types of music but, the best way to enjoy it, is at a live show. I am also very opinionated and will let others know my thoughts. But, at the same time I am willing to listen to others opinion too. If our opinions differ I will be to first to ask why do you belief what you do. While we may disagree, I think it is important for everyone to have their own opinions and I will let you have yours. I think laughter is the best medicine for the soul. A good joke or story that gets me to laughing is something I value. Some of the comedians I like are; Lewis Black, Brian Reagan, Kathleen Madigan Kevin Hart, and George Carlin.
A chapter on work;
I really do not believe work should define who I am but, I feel my job, is to pay for the rest of my life. My free time is what I value the most. If you are wondering, I do have a good job that I enjoy doing. I have been working in I.T. for the past 13 years as a Computer Engineer. Even though I value my time off, I am very committed to the time I work and I work very hard at what I do.
A chapter on family and friends;
I grew up in a small family and they mean a lot to me. They live out of town. So when I get to spend time with them it means a lot. I value the friends I have; they are the ones I want to share the good and bad times with. We spend a lot time together at different gatherings. I find comfort in a good meal and time spent with my friends.
A chapter on adventure;
I may have not traveled that much but, I would like to visit Europe, the Mediterranean, Tibet, and more of Mexico. I love to spend time outdoors. If I am not skiing, hiking, camping, or mountain biking on weekends you may see my in Point Defiance Park. I will go to Seattle to try something new or see something different.
An outline for chapters on my future;
A good match for me is smart, sweet, strong, spunky and very outgoing too. She is fun, active outdoors, enthusiastic and enjoys exploring. She has a kind soul and a genuine spirit. She strives to help others along the way. She's comfortable in her own skin. She is family-oriented and has or wants kids. A great time or date would be going hiking, skiing, or riding. When we would return from some outdoor adventure, then we would sit down to a nice home cooked meal that we cooked. We may go out to the movies, or just cuddle up on the couch and to watch a movie. A night out on the town is just as fun, fine dining followed up by some dancing our butts off. I am not sure if there is an ideal person but, I know when I have found someone. They complement me. It makes whatever I am doing that much better. It is when I get to share it (whatever it is) with someone who wants to be there, and be there with me. To many times people just “tag along” to be with someone. That is not a date, that is just killing time.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
A great time for a first date would be going hiking, bowling, or skiing. But, in this day and age, time is a valuable commodity, so a getting to know each other a cup of coffee would be a great way to see if we would like a second date. .
