I don't want to date your dog. So if you have pictures of your dog posted where you are suposed to have picture of _you_, then we probably aren't a match. There are more dog pictures than there are of people's kids and friends. There aren't many cat pictures. I guess the cat people took the message on the crazy cat lady thing. Now they are making all you dog people look bad. Maybe you all should have a meeting and compare notes.
I'm looking for someone who wants to spend time together whether it is going to movies, eating out, or running errands. Simple things can seem fun when shared with someone. I like to hold hands, buy grocery store flowers, and kiss. I enjoy long weekends for vacations and discovering new things and sharing the experience with someone special. I especailly enjoy when someone shares places that are their favorites with me.
I enjoy a good conversation where the topic wanders all over the place. The people I work with say I don't have a shortage of opinion-- I prefer to call it observation. There's no substitute for interacting with people to precipitate ideas.
I like local events in the heart of the city, the Plaza and Westport, as well as anywhere in the metro.
I'm an identical twin, (he lives in Seattle). Having a son really resonates with me because it so often reminds me of my own childhood. When I visit places with my son, it is like seeing them for the first time again.
I grew up in Columbia, Missouri (I'm a Kewpie) and went to Mizzou for a year before transfering to KU for architecture. I lived in Arlington, Virginia close to Bailey's Crossroads for 5 years after college before moving to Kansas City.
I just watched House of Cards on Netflix this spring. I haven't seen Newsroom yet because I don't have HBO. I watched the new Dallas on TNT and I took my mom to Southfork Ranch last October.
I am traveling 3 weekends in August this year. Baltimore, Orlando, then Portland. And best of luck to you in your search as well.
Latte, appetizer or some interesting local activity in Kansas City. Or maybe go see the Zeros.
I drink socially. If you can't have fun without a glass of wine or beer in your hand, move along.
