About Me
Welcome to the adventure that is my life! I am a divorced father of two. I just moved back to the Lexington area so I can spend more quality time with my kids. I am settled in and looking for new friends to hang around but more importantly I am looking for that certain someone to go out with and get to know better and see where it may lead.
I enjoy watching movies, either new releases at the theater or DVD's at home. I like all kinds really, whatever is out at the time or some old favorites. Action and adventure, I'm a big SciFi nut, Star Wars or Star Trek? love them both, Drama, comedy. I often wonder if Govenor Schwartzenegger is going to make a blockbuster comeback. We need a sequel to Kindergarten Cop!
I like to go out to eat often, either to a good restaurant or a bar and grille to watch the game and have a drink. I am attempting to eat a lot healthier lately, but I love food and I like to cook whenever I can. I just do not get the chance very often. I long to try out my cooking skills on someone more sophisticated than a 4 year old! I probably spend too much time watching the Food Network on TV. What little TV I do watch, it and Storage Wars tend to vie for my time. ESPN too! That's seems to add some testosterone to my viewing habits and help balance it all out.
I play golf when I get a chance. I have made an effort to exercise more. I need a partner to go with to help motivate/push me though. The hardest part is the first step out the door but from there it feels great....until day two, then I'm usually too sore to move....
I have recently started painting again. Watercoloring and sketching. It really soothes me to create something out of thin air on a blank canvas. If I could do it full time and make a comfortable living I would. I envy the artists here in town dedicated to their craft.
So to sum this all up. I am pretty much just a normal guy, looking for someone to spend some quality time with and get to know a little better. I am not complicated, I pretty much am what you see. If we have anything in common and you want to know a little more about me, send me a message.
