About Me
Hi!
I'm trying a new approach and thought describing what a typical week for for me would entail. I think you can get a good idea if someone might be compatible with you by what they do everyday. AND, there are less surprises later!
So, this is a typical week for me. (I do allow for spontaneity).
Monday- Friday:
Jobby job= 9-5. I try to stick to a pretty healthy diet during the week. A lot of Paleo recipes, whole food type dishes. I LOVE food, but try to keep the splurging for the weekends. I love cooking, and I am always trying out new recipes. (See Saturday for queso/liquor). :D
In the morning, I juice veggies. A new habit I am fond of.
I am not a gym rat per-se, but TRY to go to the gym at least three times a week. If I go more, great, if not- I'm not throwing a fit over it. You have to live life!
I don't watch a ton of T.V., but if i do, I have a few favorites: Big Bang Theory, The Following, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story and Homeland. I also love crime reality.
Friday evening I like to have wine/Netflix night. Usually a few horror flicks and a nice red. Love horror and thrillers. I'll watch other genres, but I prefer something on the scary side. Dinner out and Alamo is always a fun night as well. Depends on the mood I suppose.
The Weekend!
I usually play this by ear, there are always a zillion things going on in Austin. I love dining out, especially on a nice patio. I enjoy having people over my house, cooking for my friends, maybe BBQ and watch UFC, boxing, NFL etc. in the backyard.
I LOVE live music, so catching a show is always an option. What type of music you ask? I am very diverse. Grew up hip hop/R&B mostly, but now listen to most genres except for country. If my man wants to go to a country show, I will gladly go, it's just not my preference.
What else? I like boating, going to sporting events, (Pro over college), sports bars, camping, working on projects at my house, bowling, playing pool, Sunday brunch, Alamo Drafthouse, dancing, weekend get-a-ways ANYWHERE... I'm up for anything really- just need an awesome partner to join me.
Quick facts about me:
Never been married, no kids. (And no, nothing is wrong with me).
I have two cats who entertain me daily. (And no, I am not a crazy cat-lady). I am a huge animal lover period.
I am from Northern California, have been in Texas since '97.
I played soccer and softball in college.
I'm not your stereotypical woman. I'm not a chatty person, not into conflict AT ALL, this includes gossip, drama, cheating, lying and/or being needy.
Traits I would describe myself as: Honest, witty, independent w/a side of sarcasm...sprinkled with athleticism and sexiness!
What I am looking for:
A CONNECTION!
I could list a million things here, or leave it blank. Without a connection, nothing matters. But if I were to list some preferences:
I like my man to be taller than I am.
I love a nice smile, ie: nice teeth.
Confident, take charge kind of man- but who is caring, respectful and chivalrous.
Someone who is athletic, and who in to sports, be it watching or playing.
Kids are not a deal breaker, but I would love to be able to do things spontaneously, ie: travel. So I would say if you are a full time daddy, it probably won't work.
Someone who can keep up with my one liners, sarcastic remarks and kid-like shenanigans (at times). I love to goof off. Join me on the grocery store merry-go-round?

First Date
I've made the mistake of going on a "date" with people I've never met. Not the smartest idea for the most part. No matter if there is a romantic connection or not, my goal when meeting someone is good convo, and a nice time. That being said, we also don't have to waste hours of our day with each other if we have nothing in common. So something easy like happy hour always works! If you are revolted, disgusted or just plain can't keep up- you can run for the hills after a few****ails. On the other hand, if you get there and you are just overwhelmed by awesomeness and sparks are flying in all directions, you can always super-size the meeting to an actual date!
