About Me
First of all, I've been told I have many flaws for being on a dating site... I own my own home, I have many cars, I do have a job and am not looking for someone just because they have a paycheck, I get one of those myself every two weeks... I have many different intrerests, including fast 60s muscle cars, antiques of just about any kind, and many other things that I won't bother to bore you to death with... I like the outdoors everything it has to offer, including long walks exploring old sites, camping, fishing and swimming, and I do believe one can have fun doing any of activities without having to get drunk... A love for music started early in my life, as I started playing guitar my early teens, and have played in Rock Bands since i was old enough to be in bars, throughout the 80s and 90s (yeah, my ears are shot, and "What" is my favorite word)... Although those were very fun times in my life, I did grow extremely allergic to drunks during that period.. So, if you are an Alcoholic, please do not waste our time, as we will NOT be compatible.... Rock music is, and probably always will be my favorite, although I have been known to stomach other types of music on occasion, except Rap...I'm sorry, but that crap vacuums..... For the most part i live my life in levis~n~t shirts, and believe in fixing things myself.. You won't find a handyman's number on my speed dial... I truly believe that less can be more, and that its the simpler things in life given from the heart, that mean the most in a relationship... no wallet required... FYI, pictures are recent, and yes, my age is correct.. i'm just a young looking 53...
I am just recently single from a long term relationship that ended because of a major difference of opinion, I did NOT like her part time boyfriend, or more so the fact that she had one! Hoping to meet someone I can grow old with, not someone to split the sheets with 10 years from now.. I am fairly fit and trim, and am looking for somewhat the same in a mate... Of course there has to be an attraction, but as we all know beauty does fade with time, but a sweet personality is for life, so whats inside is important... She should be a good listener, yeah im a good listener too, as communication is key to any good relationship, along with being honest...
