I've made some edits here as I'm learning a bit more about myself. I'm still not so sure I have a perfect match - there are a lot of great people out there and I have a couple of very different sides to me. I'm a lawyer, but I consider myself to be a nice guy (yes, lawyers are allowed to be nice). I used to think I was half redneck, but now I know that I'm less than that. I still have a lot of fun with my friends at archery competitions and I compete regularly. I go hunting occasionally or camping/hiking when I can. But I work in downtown Pittsburgh and I'm really starting to like the great restaraunts and even the cultural disctrict. I enjoy a good show from time to time - what redneck can say that?! I'd like to have someone to explore the city with.
I also have a motorcycle, but with work, my other interests, and western PA's weather, I rarely get to ride. But it's still nice to go for a cruise on a fall day. Just not during the Steeler game!
I like to work out and I'm at the gym 3 or 4 times a week plus a light workout at home on the weekends. I'm not a huge guy, but I like to stay fit. I like to eat out, mostly because I can't cook. I tried to learn how to cook, failed miserably, and decided it was in everyone's best interests that I master the art of take out.
I love to joke around, laugh, and can be a real goofball at times. It would be nice to meet someone that likes to laugh, is caring, somewhat professional, and didn't mind my hobbies. I don't think everyone has to like the exact same things to have a meaningful relationship. In fact, I think relationships are generally better if each person can retreat to her/his own interests from time to time.
Yes, I am separated. I know this may be a black mark to a lot of women out there and I don't hold anything against you for your opinions and experiences. For the record, my divorce papers have been filed and we've reached a settlement. We're doing the final paperwork now, so it shouldn't be much longer. We both want the divorce to be finalized soon, we're just making sure we do it right.
That's really all I can think of for now. It's pretty tough to know what someone is like from an online profile, so send me an email and let's get to know each other.
NOTE: I GENERALLY DO NOT RESPOND WHEN THERE IS NO PIC. I'M NOT BEING SHALLOW, I JUST WANT SOME SENSE OF COMFORT THAT I'M NOT TALKING TO A DUDE.
