I'm a Texas girl, Austin is my hometown.I've grown up with music all around me; it's sort of a hobby to some, but it's a lifeblood for me; I study it's rich history, love it's trivia, and love people who know more about it than I do. I'm not a big heavy metal fan, though I have a few favorites; I really like older alternative things ; if you like Luna or The The, yay! Currently taking a music history class.I've lived in LA for 20 something years but ready to go back to Austin in a couple,; people are kind and real. Some people think I'm great, some are judgemental. I like me just fine.i have a brilliant 16 year old son who drums, fences, and is going to be an engineer like his dad. I don't date much younger men, but I don't like "old men" either. Music industry is ok, but no more musicians. Creative types and I seem to get along. You must have nice feet. And own your own home. And not believe in psychobabble or be overly politically extreme. And not think anyone who has dated musicians is a groupie. I prefer strong, confident yet spiritual men. I don't drink, don't do drugs, and I don't tolerate huge egos very well. You must be a nice person, physically fit but not overly enamoured of yourself. And believe in giving back for the blessings you've been given. I'm financially secure, seek the same. I'm not looking to be wined and dined, or flown around the world, but I respect hard work , ambition and intelligence in a man. My dream? Opening an art gallery somewhere, perhaps Austin or Taos, and living upstairs, and turning it into a performance venue at night. Maybe.
