About Me
First and foremost, I am a single mom to 4 of the most amazing, polite, well behaved kids in the world. I am not looking for someone to just hook up with. My kids are everything to me and I would do anything to make them happy. I am absolutely unwilling to ever settle for someone who just tolerates the fact that I have kids. If you don't want kids, please don't message me. They are awesome but there are still 4 of them and I understand that can be a bit much for some people to handle. That being said, I am also NOT looking for someone to step in and be their father. They have the best daddy a kid (and that kid's mom) could ask for. However, the kids are part of me; we are a package deal and I expect them to be included in our life, should we begin a serious relationship.
Now for the hard part: describing myself without sounding conceited lol. I like to use the phrase "yankee by blood, southern by the grace of God." My parents are both from New England but I was born and raised in Louisiana, so yes I do have a bit of an accent. I am a country girl at heart and that includes my 4 wheel drive pickup truck. I moved to Massachusetts in July and am loving it so far; I was warned that I would probably hate living in the snow, but the only problem I really had with it was digging the car out! I have been told I'm a very down to earth person, I try to avoid drama if I can. I love music, mostly country, also old rock, lovelovelove 80's music lol. My brother just started teaching me to play guitar and I'm excited about it!! I think laughter is an essential part of life and a necessity in a relationship. I'm not as funny as I'd like to be but I do know quite a few elephant jokes, they're my favorite! I consider myself fairly intelligent and can definitely hold my own in a conversation, yes I have my own opinions and ideas about things. I hate grammatical and spelling errors. I'm a little quirky, but not in a crazylady kind of way. I like to sing and dance, although I'm not particularly good at either of those it doesnt stop me from doing them. I love being outdoors, camping, fishing, mudding, bonfires, etc. I own a snowboard that I took down a hill a few times over the winter and I loved it! I currently work as a server at a restaurant and I also recently started grooming dogs again which is something I truly enjoy. Animals are a huge passion of mine, I have 2 dogs that are like my kids, an Australian shepherd and a mini schnauzer. I also have quite a few really good guy friends that are like brothers to me, and I expect someone to be ok with that.
