About Me
A little bit about me... I am a San Diego native who recently moved back to this sunny city for work. I have a double bachelors in biology and nursing and I'm currently working as a registered nurse in a critical care unit. Working three days a week leaves a lot of time for travel so I try and take trips and mini vacations as often as possible. London has recently claimed my heart on my last major vacation. Can't beat a city full of culture, manners, and oh yes, accents! :) next on the list is Spain (Ibiza), Australia, and possibly a tour of Europe.
Intellect, wit, and a sense of humor are absolutely imperative. While looks are not the most important thing I'm looking for, I would be lying if I said that looks didn't matter. After all, everyone is initially physically attracted to each other to some extent. Although manners have seemed to become a rare commodity, I still believe that chivalry is not dead, I hope!
As far as music, I listen to anything coachella-esque.. The naked and the famous, kooks, the xx, foster the people, gotye, vampire weekend, crystal castles, the postal service, etc. And I absolutely love house music! Its gotten way better over the last few years :) Swedish house mafia, avicii, Calvin Harris, dead mau5, benny benassi, skrillex, daft punk....
Living in la for a year, I have a new appreciation for excellent, unique cuisine. It's hard not to become a foodie in that city. I am an adventurous eater and by that I mean food, strictly food heh so you can get your mind out of the gutter now! I am always looking to try new types of food and can never pass up a good steak, Pittsburgh style of course! A girl's gotta eat :) if you happen to know who Jose andres is, you know why I would follow him anywhere.
