About Me
Hi there, thanks for stopping by my profile.
I transplanted to Auburn from the bay area just two years ago, still learning the area. Country living, it's pretty cool. Loving it. It's also a great launching point, only a couple hours to the coolest places in California and NV. I can get to Sac and enjoy it's nightlife in about 25-30 minutes, which was similar to when I lived in Oakland by day and SF by night (I was much younger, I can't go quite as hard as I did in my 20's).
My anchors, my mother, father and brother are still in the bay area. I was born and raised in the Eastbay, Yes, I am a die hard Raider and As fan. I am a Prop 215 advocate. I am in SF a couple days a week for work. To avoid traffic, I often mix in some playtime while the commuters get off the road.
I am at an exciting point in my life, free to explore the world and its offerings. My match should be ready for fun and and leave the major baggage behind. At this point in my life and I imagine yours, there's bound to be some baggage. Let's keep it to a minimum. I'd like to date and have a good time. If we are a great fit, the goal is to find ONE keeper. I prefer monogomy.
I do work a ton yet have a flexible schedule. Five days a week, I eat pretty healthy and exercise (treadmiller), only to enjoy letting loose during those couple days off. Wine tasting, casino nights, dining out, or just drinks and appys are all appealing to me. I am a people watcher and enjoying being out.
Baseball season is around the corner, A's, Rivercats and even Giants games are in order.
By far my favorite hobby is fishing in lakes, rivers, the ocean, tuna anywhewre, or anywhere the fishing is red hot. lol.
In the last year and half, I have done few races a couple of 5k and 2 - 10k races. Pretty fun and I dont feel guilty eating a fat cheeseburger and pounding down a couple coldies afterwards.
I am financailly secure and independent, except for my dogs. I was married once for almost 7 years and was monoagmous realtionship with her for 13. I raised a step son during the same 13 years, who is 20 now and in juniour away at college, doing quite well. I am not super interested in becoming a parent again, but it wouldnt neccessarily be deal a breaker either. For the right woman anything is possible. FYI I cannot reproduce, vasectomy.
Love food. Who doesnt? Sushi is a habit for me. Literally could eat it every day, but limit myself to a couple days week. I enjoy cooking for two people rather than one. Love some wine, pinots mostly.
A relationship with a woman with similar but not identical interests. must love dogs. looking for some one likes to laugh, even at politically incorrect jokes. Humor is super important. Intelligence and independence are also very attractive for me. Seriously, if you can't luagh, give and take a joke, please kindly kick rocks and don't look back.
