About Me
Hello and thanks for stopping by. I'm pretty new to online dating, but thought what the heck, why not give it a try.
A little about me...I moved to the Bay Area 14 years ago from sunny South Florida thinking in the back of my mind I'd only last a year here. Well, obviously that didn't transpire, and I'm still here and loving all the Bay Area has to offer. I keep active by working out on a regular basis. I love the beach and water (I got it from all those years in sunny South Florida where I grew up). I try to keep the drama in my life to a minimum (if not non-existent) as I just don't have the time or patience for it. I'm fun-loving and can be very funny at times (at least I seem to make people laugh often). I love to laugh and am looking for someone with a great sense of humor.
I can't say I'm much of a skier having grown up in Florida, but would be open to learning if someone has the patience to teach me (I love going to the snow even just to hang out and people watch). I also love to take my kids up to Tahoe to go sledding and tubing.
Wine tasting is a favorite, and I love to travel (if only even for the day). Hiking and biking are also of interest. I have done triathlons and a quadathlon in the past (I do have photos to prove it and no, I did not Photoshop myself into the photos). I'm pretty much open to just about anything.
Let's talk about camping. I know most of you men love to camp. Do I? Heck no would it be my first choice but I've been quite a few times and would do it again if you twisted my arm (actually my kids would probably like it so that makes me game too). I'll just be sure to check our shoes for any creepy crawlers that might have made themselves at home in our shoes while we were sleeping. In my early 20's, I could be seen riding around on a swamp buggy and hanging deer feeders. So with that said, I'm open to being adventurous and trying new things.
I have three wonderful children, and love planning fun activities with them. I like to be the fun mom by often planning themed dance parties for my children and their friends, other very creative and spontaneous activities, or just getting out and exploring all the Bay Area has to offer.
My kids are obviously a big part of my life, but I also have the flexibility to travel and go out as desired as I have live in help.
