I have a job (Navy combat medic and Emergency Department Tech), I have a goal (Physician Assistant School), and I have a car (Jeep). Please, at the very minimum, have two of these things in your life. I'm not looking for perfection, but I am looking for an equal to experience life with me. If you got that and more, keep calm and carry on.
Also, if you're a female and your profile says something along the lines of "I'm not like any other girl you've met" or "you can stop looking now," please be able to qualify that statement with some examples. For all I know, that could mean you're an amazingly intelligent, statuesque, refined, modern-day version of Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's, or it could mean that you've had "reconstructive surgery" which recently allowed you to go from Nick to Nichole. The Devil's in the details most times.
What makes me unique: I read medical textbooks for fun, I spend entirely too much time at Hobby Lobby for a heterosexual male, I love to garden and cook, I love working in trauma medicine, I have a puggle (What straight guy has a puggle, right?), I'm freakishly good at Jeopardy, I try to better myself each and every day, and I listen to entirely too much 60s/70s/80s R&B and "baby making" music for a 29 year old Caucasian male.
Aside from that I like the normal guy stuff: working out, building things, shooting guns, BBQing, playing poker, working on my Jeep, building forts with my nephew, camping, etc.
What I want from a woman: Intelligence, drive, compassion, spontaneity, passion, goofiness... Someone to go hiking with, to quote movies with me, to cook with me, to push me, to workout with me, to give me time alone, to build sh*t with me, to shamelessly sing country songs with me, to joke with me, to love my family like their own, to call me out when needed, to show me what matters, to watch soccer/football/baseball games with me, et al.
What I don't want in my life: swag, swagger, or anything related to said "style." Shallow people and those only worried about money or worldly possessions. People without ambition, drive, or a want to improve themselves and/or others. Narcissistic people.
I just ask that you be real, be open, and be living for something you care about (aside from yourself).
