Thanks for taking a peek. Now for the truly hard part. How do you convince someone you are great without sounding conceited? Plus, I get extremely nervous and shy, talking about myself, and being around someone new. Which is really odd, because when I stop and think about it, at work I am in front of a hundred people a week, some strangers, and I am 100% confident. Personal stuff, just not as easy.
So my ultimate goal here is to find the "last" one, the one that I am supposed to grow old with and share the rest of my life with. However, that does not mean I am needy, desperate, or clingy. It means that after a date or two, if that chemistry, that vibe is just not there, then there is no reason to go any further. Not looking for easy, booty call, FWB or anything like that. Also not looking for someone to move in anytime soon. They just have to possess the qualities that the possibility is there someday.
So what are those qualities. The most important, good attitude towards life. Everyone has bad days, it's how you react to them that's important to me. Great conversation is a must. I enjoy good company, why would I ever want to be around someone that I could not talk to, and was not absolutely comfortable with.
I have a good career, education, family, etc. I believe I am witty, intelligent, and humorous. All traits which are very hard portray to someone in a few pics and paragraphs.
If you really are looking for a good person, honest, genuine, loyal, funny, and intelligent, then I invite you to dinner. Also, a little old fashioned, first date is on me, after that we can argue about going dutch or whatever :)
If you have any questions, send a message, you never know until you try.
I would like to do anything where we are able to talk, see if that first spark is there. If not, we part company no worse than we started, if there is, then we take our time and get to know each other.
What I really want to do is get to that second or third date, where we can do something really interesting, like visit Ventura during their Quarterly flea market which is supposed to be amazing. Or cruise to a small mountain town like Wrightwood for the annual Halloween festivities.
or if you want to stay local, I keep thinking it would be nice to go on that new High Roller and see all of the city!
