I'm Lacie! I just moved back up North from LA in April and I couldn't be happier. I lived in San Francisco several years ago, and went to Nursing school in San Jose, then decided I wanted to check out LA and see what that was like. Eh. Not my bag. Luckily, I got offered a great job up here in the Bay Area and decided, it was time to move back, and to be honest it didn't take much thought. I grew up in Southern CA but I believe I belong up north. I love Wine country, I love San Francisco, downtown WC is great, and I love how centrally located it is. Plus, there's no smog and a lot less traffic here, which is reason enough to move back! ;-)
I'm on this wonderful "dating" site because I work full time, am in school finishing my Bachelors degree, I don't know a ton of people in Walnut Creek and I don't really go out all that much, unless it's in SF. Plus, lets face it, it's not easy meeting anyone at a bar.
I do also have a bit of a wacky work schedule, so that gets in the way of a lot of fun activities. I'm looking to find someone that is on the same page as I am. I'm not looking to get married or start a family anytime soon (maybe someday) - but I am looking for a serious relationship with someone that I can travel with, share life with, go wine tasting together, try new and exciting things together and of course have someone to come home to. I have been single for awhile, and have enjoyed my free time, but I am ready to commit to one person and see where it goes. :-)
I am not interested in a "fling" or something casual, so don't waste your time or mine if that is all you are looking for. I also am not going to waste my time on anyone who is not willing to put the effort in getting to know me and is willing and ready to make time for me in their life. I get that we all work and our careers are important to us all.. but stop using it as an excuse to not be able to keep your word. We're all busy - try something else. I'm ready to put in the effort for the right guy and make him a part of my life - I expect the same. :-)
I just got a new puppy as well - a chocolate lab named Tess and she is absolutely adorable. She will go everywhere with me, so be forewarned. I also have a kitty named Ricky who is the sweetest cat you'll meet and he loves to cuddle. However, I don't expect you to cuddle with him or even like him, just know my animals are my kids - take it or leave it. :-)
I think that is all. Happy hunting!
