I am a very honest person. I love to help people, animals, sports, travel, laughing and fun. Am looking for that certain individual with the same qualities. I am an out going energetic individual. I enjoy all sports and I love to travel so I am looking for someone with the same interests. I am very much a family person - I come from a big family so it is very important to me. I enjoy academics and learning both through academics and travel - experiencing different cultures, reading books and learning through other people. If I don't know an answer, I ask questions or observe until I learn how to do something.
Would like to meet someone with the same interests but it is not completely necessary. Someone who is fun, smart and able to share their interests and beliefs with me. Communication is very important.
My dislikes: Liars, cheaters, fakes, jealously, people with a sh*tload of baggage and won't do anything about it, boring people, people without some sort of balance (Spiritually, Mentally, Physically), head cases and people who are disrespectful or constantly negative. That's all - lol!!
A little bit about myself? I am 5 8", about 110 lbs. I love sports, eating right, feeling good - although, like anyone else, I am not perfect. I have been travelling around the world, going to school as well as working for about ten years now. Have come to the conclusion "the more I learn the less I know". I believe that life is about a balance of Spiritual, Mental and Physical. Everything in moderation will create the reality we desire.
My hobbies & interests: Gym, movies, spend time with family, teaching, travel, the ocean, camping, hiking, golf, floor hockey, reading, running, aerobics, sleeping (lol), good wine, candles, thunder storms, massages, nice people, the Fall, true friends, balanced individuals, trust, motivation, discipine yet knowing how to have fun, kickboxing and animals. Travel, Sports, Family, Camping, Learning.

First Date
I prefer dinners, drinks and movies (or all three). Am not too fond of bars or even parties anymore. When I date (or if I date), I prefer to get to know the individual on a one to one basis. Head cases need not apply.
I am open to lunch or coffee, a hike, sporting activites (whether watching or participating), the zoo, I love to travel but I don't think Europe is realistic for a first date.
To make a long story short, I grew up in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia (which I absolutely love). After my undergrad, I moved to St. Andrews, New Brunswick to work in the tourism industry (the golf course). Shortly after, I had the opportunity to live in Europe. I based myself in England and did some modelling in London as well as work at the Eurotunnel. Being the only North American employed there was an experience all in itself. I managed to travel to Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Italy and whatever else in in between England and Turkey (too many places to list or to even bore you with). In addition, I have been throughout Canada and the United States as well as participate in various Mission trips to Honduras to build houses for the underprivledged. Travel (especially alone as I did), taught me just how strong I actually am and opened up an entire new world. Although I am a teacher, I feel I have learned more from travelling than any classroom that I have both taught and participated in. After several years of work and travel, I returned to school to complete a Masters in Education.
I believe that life is made up of the Spiritual, Mental and Physical. When we achieve some sort of a balance between all three, then we are more balanced Socially and Financially. Balance is the key. My mission statement goes something like this 1) Believe in God or your higher power, 2) Believe in Yourself 3) Respect for Self and Respect for Others 4) Everything in Moderation
5) Money will be my Servant, not my Master.
For those of you who are only out to play head games, please don't bother with me. I am a serious yet fun gal who is not looking for a "good time" nor am I here to be your Social Worker. So, if you have a tremendous amount of baggage, get help! As of now, I am free and single! Drop me a line if you feel we may have a connection. I am looking for someone who views life as I do.
