About Me
My name is Karleigh. I'm 20 years old. I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, so I've been here my whole life. Most of my family is from Alabama, so I was bound to have a bit of a country side in my blood ;D I love to sing, read, web design, dance, going to church, I love to write, and when I can find just the right book, I can barely go a moment to be bothered to do anything else. I love to play Soccer. Camping even. Things I haven't done in which seem like so long. I surprise myself as life goes on with new things I discover I like to do.
--I want to finish school completely. Find a career, and love it. Find a place of my own, but right now, I'm not trying to rush through life. I just live in the moment, and make each day, a new day. A new adventure even if it's laying around the house in pajamas catching a good movie on t.v. I hope to one day have a family of my own. A husband. Children. Give them the perfect life, and make up for what I never had.
-- I have 4 pets. two dogs. Two cats. Animals are my life. I'm still a little girl at heart. I have dreams, that I hope day in and day out will come true. I've witnessed a life changing experience. I dream. I put words down on paper, thriving for whatever it is I wish for. I was involved in church most of my teenage life. I gave my life to God, then when life struck me with a bump in the road, I withdrew immediately. So at the moment in my life, I'm reaching out to make a change in myself and not let something hold me back. But what makes me unique? I give my all in everything I do. I'm not like your normal average girl. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, but that doesn't mean I'm easy to walk all over. I know what I want and I aim to get it. Nothing stops me from reaching what I truly want. And I take on the challenges life throws my way.
--I love music. If there's anything that I love most in life it's music. I either have pandora on, youtube going or my ipod playing. From classical such as, Josh Groban, to hip hop, spanish, some country, but it truly all depends. Something I have to be in the mood for. I love Glee. I love broadway. I've gone all the way to NYC just to see a broadway performance. So, I'll go to great lengths for something I love xD

First Date
First date. I'm not like normal girls. I won't ask much of anything. I won't expect romance on the spot. Even if it's a drive to the beach to talk. To get to know the person, to build that comfort, a friendship hoping to see sparks fly, I think that's what's the best moment. Realizing your attraction for someone. The butterflies. The common interests. Laughter, realizing just how compatible the both of us are. Since I'm not of age, "21" just yet -- taking our dogs out on walks, going to a movie, or dinner and then a movie, talk to one another first, -- I'm more into getting to know the person. That's what matters most. Remembering each moment. The little things. The big things. Making an effort to truly want to get to know that someone, hoping they'll turn out to be a, special someone.
