I've been busy these past few years. Busy building my life between school and my career my personal life has lagged behind.
I'm looking to get the best out of life and I would love to meet someone to share that journey with. But I'm not looking for just anybody so just because you don't have kids does not make you a winner in anyway (sorry). I'm looking for a gentleman that KNOWS how to be romantic, all others need not apply. This is real life not playland and I am interested in finding my suitor, my equal, the love of my life. If your 30 and younger, no offense but I'm not interested.
My taste in music....hmm...I'm pretty much an eclectic, but mostly a 90s girl, happy, upbeat, positive, inspirational music is what I enjoy. Don't really have the patience for other mindless ramblings they call rap/hip hop now-a-days.
I'm from the South, SC to be exact. I'm looking for a normal guy, not someone that's so busy selling themselves that they can't see quality right in front of them. If you have no patience in persuing a good woman and want to rush into meeting me and when you meet me treat me like a piece of meet by touching and oogling PLEASE do not bother sending a message. I'm looking for confidence, charasma, class and someone that knows how to take the wheel and drive.
Simple small gestures like opening a door and calling to make sure I got home safe go a long way with me because it means you're investing your most valued commodities.....time and effort.
I've been a Cowboys fan since I was a child. It's not going to change that just because I live in the DMV.
The one true God is the head of my life so if this statement makes you uncomfortable, good, please skip my profile.
I've finally found the time to focus on a better way of life, with better eating and taking better care of my body and my health. I'm a cardio girl so I try to workout at least 5 days a week. I'm not crazy with it like some people in this area (they're really obssessed and way too muscular for my liking ewwe). So please have some interest in taking care of yourself AND your body. If you post pictures that show you 20-35 or more pounds lighter than you actually are that's not fair to the person you meet. Be proud of who you are and work on who you want to be. But being upfront and truthful about your appearance goes a long way.
PS~ The worst question you can ask a person is..so, why are you single? That's like asking a person, why are you a human!! Everybody on this site is single hopefully, LOL! I believe it's all about timing and it'll happen when it's supposed to.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I'm pretty laid back. I like to be inside in the cold and outside when it's warm.
I like to enjoy the DMV area which involves all it has to offer whether it's listening to live jazz, watching NFL at the stadium or in a sportsbar, seen the new Nationals Stadium lately? Or checking out how horrible the Wizards are doing but I definitely like the charged crowds and the occasional surprise visit from the President (you never know where they're going to be)
I can enjoy a good action, drama, sappy love, or slapstick comedy movie like anybody else. Even going down to view an independent film at the E Street Cinema.
How about Segways in the Park? Paintball? Bumper cars? Hoseback riding? Jet skis? Whitewater rafting? It's all cool with me
