When there is nothing left to say, that is when you start to get to know someone. I love learning how things work. I was the kid that took apart the TV remote just to see how it works and forgot to put all the buttons back. I work hard every day to become a leader and try to have all the important answers. Until then, I'm just going to try and wing it the best I can. I am dedicated to the important cause. I hate failure but I also use it as an opportunity to grow.
I am a full-time student at CWU pursuing my Bach of Science in Business Admin, slated to graduate and commission June 2014. I want to eventually work my way into a purchasing position in either a manufacturing facility or some sort of larger restaurant or catering company. Maybe one day owning my own. I like to set my goals high because if I set the bar low and always achieve, I'm never going to get off the ground.
I am in the Army, but don't fit the stereotype. I work out and really like to go for runs. The world around me intrigues me; there is something new to be discovered all the time. Music choice is always easy, everything fits my bill except blue grass.... oh the twang.... I listen to (newer) country, older rock and roll, new rock, top 40, and some old school hip hop. I like to dance but that comes with a disclaimer: I can't keep a beat to save my life. Also the reason I don't play any instruments anymore.
I'll be honest; I'm not your average guy when it comes to relationships. It might be because I'm getting old but I am looking for someone who doesn't have a lot of drama in their life or wrapped up in Facebook. I am also very traditional with getting to know someone before even thinking of hopping in bed. It is kind of a turn off when I click on photos and all I see is a bunch of cleavage shots, like it's a lure for guys. I am not after increasing that "number". Just that gal I can show what it means to be cared for and appreciated.
Oh, you know, candle light dinner, roses, a little bit of wine..... Just kidding.... unless you're in to that. My Idea of a first date is simple, get to know someone in a coffee shop over a latte or lunch and have a little fun while doing it. That fun part is really important. There is too much stress behind a first date and that just ruins the fun. Some of my ideal first dates would be to go in to the mountains for hiking, a cruise up to Snoqualmie Pass or Stevens is also great. The best advice I have heard is when it gets to be that awkward silence, ask a question, the worst that can be said is 'I don't know'.
