About Me
I’m no longer “20 something” (if this is not a good thing, you should definitely move on immediately), and I feel as if I truly know what I want and what I’m capable of giving. I am at least semi-educated, I have a low threshold for BS, I am a mean baker, generous to fault, a bit sarcastic at times (maybe often) and other times I get teary-eyed watching sappy commercials, I talk…a lot, but somehow manage to be a pretty good listener. I am and have always been a romantic, but I’ve been through this before, so it’s tempered with reality. In addition, I am in love with the California sun and sparkling blue skies, but would be willing to give it up for the right relationship. I’d like to think I am at least somewhat well-rounded…I am an expert at burying myself under a blanket on the couch and reading a book or watching a shameless reality show, but I also love to spend my free time jogging, going to music venues and movies, hiking with my dog (ok...walking; he has really short legs), and I would love to learn how to golf and play tennis (I know…shameless plug for free lessons). My new addiction is Zumba, in fact I am officially certified (not certifiable) as of a few weeks ago and look forward to being a volunteer teacher at the Wellness community around June or July if they'll have me.
I’m most attracted to a man with a great sense of humor and an intellect to match (and it would be nice if you’re over 5’ 7" since I live in 5 inch heels), a man who calls when he says he will, and sometimes just because, one who isn’t afraid to tell me he’s thinking of me, and also has no qualms about telling me the truth. Above all, I want a man that is willing to take risks…with his heart, mind, and more. “To live without risk is to risk not living” (what’s a profile without a quote from Pope Pius XII, and from a Jewish girl no less?). To that end...recently jumped from a plane (and I have a fear of heights)...it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Care to add to that?
My life is not perfect, and it often strikes me as odd reading through the plethora of profiles how so many people lives sound so full, so pristine, so “without want”…yet here we are! Honestly, I’ve had my share of challenges, and there are sure to be many more on the horizon, but I think I’m at a good place in my life and I’m ready to experience and enjoy the simplicities and complexities of life with someone. If this entices you in the least bit, than I look forward to hearing from you.

First Date
A wonderful date (for I wouldn't want a perfect one) would be witty, easy conversation, a noticeable chemistry, laughter, and an absence of drama. And when I get into my car to leave, I have an urge to call everyone I know to tell them about you, even if it's 3 AM.
