I really admire speaking to people who have something to say - something positive or negative. Although I do find negative attitudes quite a lot of work to negotiate through - it can be exhausting.
I like to keep conversations light but will get heavy at times. One movie that moved me was "Crash". All those stereotypical innuendo's that we hate to associate with colour, race or religion - yet on some level, they all sort of exist. I don't think I follow stereotypes too much but I can admit that I'd be a bit worried if I ended up at New York Yankees stadium wearing a Blue Jay jersey.
I would like to think of myself as a traveler more than a cottage person: I'll go back to New York in a heart beat and now Chicago too - Miami is one of my next trips. Got any new ideas?
Pet peeve #1. A girl looking for an honest man but doesn't have a pic???
Pet peeve #2. Awkward tattoos - people need to be a bit more creative these days
Pet peeve #3. Pics with only sunglasses or 100 feet away.
Pet peeve #4. Fun people! Just kidding... only the ones who say they're fun but end up liking to snuggle up on the couch (way too long) and watch a movie (I mean 10 movies in a row every weekend - get my point?
Pet peeve #5. People who think they're truly unique. If the next guy looks almost like the last guy, don't you think the next girl will be almost like you? Don't worry, if I like you and you like me - we will be unique.
Pet peeve #6. People who think they're awesome. Did you have a bad childhood? Need some therapy? Being awesome means it's in your blood, not in your profile.
Pet peeve #7. Girls with shirts... every profile I read says girls hate guys without their shirts on. Trust me, the girl beside you is saying it. A girl just asked me to put in my pet peeves, but sadly, I haven't even seen one.
Pet peeve #8. having pet peeves.
Pet peeve #9. profiles with pet peeves.
