I was born in 74 . My profile has the wrong age and I'm unable to fix it. My pictures are current and I look ridiculously young for my age. Really.
Me Overall I'd say I'm quite open and optimistic. I'm good-natured but not naïve, savvy but not jaded. I can do high-brow or low-brow and I love the fact that I feel comfortable in both worlds and can fit in almost anywhere. I feel just as comfortable in a national library conference or a Michelin restaurant as I do in a mosh pit or chugging beers at a kegger. I like to experience everything I can. I also like to have a lot of things going on in my life.
I have a ton of friends and can be very social sometimes, but I definitely have been known to just take a break and hibernate some weekends. I think that would be a lot more fun to do with a lover and best friend. Usually on the weekends I'm seeing live music, studying in a coffee shop, at a dive bar with friends or just hanging around my place. I also like art exhibits, movies, plays, Vegas, and exploring LA. Mostly you'll see me zippin' around LA or OC in my wee Miata - bonus points if you can drive stick.
You What I'm looking for is not very complex but I doubt I'll find it here: I want to meet an honest, mature guy who knows what he wants. I think it's totally possible to be silly, open-minded, salacious, spontaneous, adventurous and still know how to treat people and take care of your business. I look and feel very youthful, but I do what I say and I say what I mean - you should, too. I realize this site is more about people hooking up and getting laid, so my expectations are very, very low. I'm not looking to rush into anything too intense too fast. Those situations usually burn out fast and I really don't want to waste energy on flaky people, I have too much else to do. The exception would be if I find someone who's a perfect fit and we both know it.

I guess I'm mostly into 70s/80s punk, new wave and electronic, but I have a penchant for a lot of different styles of music like 60s garage, surf, ska, classical, proto-punk, rockabilly, indie, electroclash, so much more... I have a butt-load of records (yes, record albums) and I collect colored vinyl.
movies
I love offbeat directors like Jarmusch, Lynch, Kubrick and Polanski and I watch way too many old movies on TCM. Some of my favorites include: His Girl Friday, Se7en, Romper Stomper, This is England, Repo Man, Boondock Saints, American Psycho, Das Boot, Sophie's Choice, The Bicycle Thief, Clockwork Orange, The Elephant Man, Inglorious Basterds, Rear Window, The Third Man, The Great Dictator, Blue Velvet, Stranger Than Paradise, Chinatown, Rosemary's Baby, It Happened One Night, The Thin Man, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Decline of Western Civilization, Dr. Strangelove... ok, that probably gives a good cross section.

I don't have a lot of time for TV right now, but my all-time favorite since childhood is Saturday Night Live. I like Portlandia, Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, Breaking Bad, The Young Ones, Hoarders, Huell Howser (RIP), Boardwalk Empire, Robot Chicken, The Daily Show, 30 Rock, Ken Burns' docs...

I read a lot of non-fiction and I devour the New Yorker ravenously. I also collect some comics/graphic novels. I either like them really old or really weird.

I can shift to being an outdoorsy gal too, despite my "city girl" appearance. I was quite the tomboy growing up and I'd love to learn how to scuba dive.
